Diabetics

Q - If I have diabetes can I get Micro-needling Treatments?

A - You can get Micro-Needling on healthy tissue only, do not get if there are open wounds or the tissue is questionable. Consult with your doctor if you’re not sure.

Hypertension

Q - Why can I not get Micro-Needling if I have hypertension or severe hypertension?

A - Hypertension can cause increased pressure in your blood vessels and the skin roller could possibly damage blood vessels if the pressure in the vessels is too high.

Q - Can I get Micro-needling if I have a pace maker?

A - It is best not to get the treatment on top or around the area of the pace maker, but can be used in all other areas.

Cancer Patients

Q - If I’m a cancer patient can I get Micro-Needling?

A - Cancer can cause lymphedema and affect flow of lymph fluids, the skin needling can cause lymphedema condition to worsen, so best not to use it at all.  Never get needling on skin cancer or skin being treated for cancer. If you have cancer and are being treated with radiation or chemo therapy,  do not get micro needling done. Treatments used to treat cancer can make the skin extremely sensitive, as well as causing other issues which the user may be unaware of.  Always consult your physician before starting any existing or new treatments if you have any form of cancer.
